Hi my name is Mona, I am a 2 yr old tri colored female. I am small too, although not quite as small as my sister Shelby. I am much shyer than she and it took me some time to come around and learn the ropes in my foster home.

I don’t have a mean bone in my body and my foster mom can do anything to me without fear of being bitten.

She feels a quieter home would suit me best.

I too sleep in a crate at night, and love to bark at my fellow Shelties while they run and play.

My owner did not want me anymore, as they did not socialize me as a puppy, so even living in a house is all new to me. I LOVE to stop and watch the TV! It talks to me!

Tyson is a very small collie (18”-19” at the shoulder), most likely a sheltie/collie mix. He came to CRLNE through a shelter that works with breed rescues. His owner gave him up due to his HIGH energy level. And his foster parents can attest to his ENERGY!

In my foster home, I sleep in a crate and am getting along fine with the other Shelties, I lived with numerous cats in my previous home so I like them.

Although my foster mom says I can stay with her forever, I would also like a home I can call my own, and not have to share my person with multiple other Shelties, although I get along very well with other dogs and cats. I love kids, but don’t want to live with small rambunctious ones! I cannot hear too well, but my eye site is fine. My nose also works very well! I have learned some hand signals from my foster mom. If you have a small space so I can have my own home, and my own bed. You will be rewarded with all my love and my sheltie kisses.

My foster mom’s grandkids took me home when I first arrived in rescue, but they own a dog that does not like me! So for my safety, I am looking for a new home. I was originally dumped in the humane society, but was picked up by Sheltie rescue the next day. I have been totally updated on all shots and heartworm cleared. I am a very “young” 10, if rescue hadn’t been able to get my vet records, they would have guessed me to be a 7 yr old. I like to sleep on the couch, and when your not paying enough attention to me, I will come over and push at your hand until you pet me and rub my ears.

I lived with a senior Sheltie, and I often picked on her. I am fine meeting other dogs and cats, but become jealous if they go near my owner.

I just don’t want to share my people. I have played with kids ages 8 and up and have enjoyed playing with them. I am well mannered and housebroken. I have basic obedience; I come when called and sit for treats. My foster mom says I’m a very smart boy and might do well in an obedience or agility ring, or just sitting on the couch watching TV.
